Environmental Management
Look at these images and discuss together how you think these animals and habitats are affected by human activity and climate change. Some images show human activities; think about how this may affect the environment.
As a class, think of some meaningful actions that you can do to combat climate change. Which do you think would be the most beneficial or feasible?
- In groups, brainstorm and list different ways these animals might feel the impacts of climate change.
- How do we know?
- Where could you look to find more information that is reliable?
- How can you tell if information is not reliable, or that an image has been altered by AI? (hint - none of these are!)
- List different ways the human activities in these images affect animals, ecosystems, and human health?
- What is our responsibility to wildlife, the environment and to each other when it comes to our own choices?
- What different choices can you make?
- Who or what is affected the most by climate change?
- What do you want to learn more about?
- In the past, what has been the result of human activity on wildlife, and what clues do we have today to know this?
